Health and Safety Manager overview -

Responsible for controlling all HSE-related issues across the plant and helping to maintain a safe working environment for employees. Ensuring compliance with necessary standards and legislation.Responsibilities include -

Drive sustainability improvement concerning Health, Safety, and Environment.
Ensure that relevant risk assessments and training are delivered across the plant.
Manage audits, ensuring containment, root cause, and countermeasures are implemented.
Investigating and documenting incidents and accidents, ensuring the right actions are implemented.
Facilitate QHSE discussions and ensure employee involvement.
Ensure that all system changes and training programs are documented correctly.Desirable skills and education -

Strong HSE experience within a manufacturing environment.
Systems experience - ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 18001.
Internal Auditor, NEBOSH General Cert, IOSH. Health and Safety Manager benefits include -
