Production Manager

Northampton area

Salary up to £45,000

Monday - Friday hours

I am pleased to be working with a small family run business within the Northampton area who are currently investing a lot into their business and are looking forward to growing the company and the teams over the next few months to a year. Main Responsibilities:

You will be in charge of a team of around 5 staff including team leaders
Will be heavily involved in the business improvements that they will be going through over the next couple of months
Making sure the operators are maintaining the equipment correctly
Planning the production schedules - What needs to be done and when it needs to be completed by
Scheduling in the deliveries
Working closely with the customers and suppliers
Managing KPI output which is determined by output of product and much more
Ordering the materials - Hands on purchasing involvement
Managing the production budget and controlling any costs in the department

To be considered for this position you will be a Production Manager with experience managing a team within a precision machinery industry or heavier industry.
