Job Title: Heavy Plant Fitter (Workshop Based)

Are you an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter looking for your next opportunity?

Join a large and well-established recycling company in the Ruislip area, where you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing essential machinery.

This is a full-time, workshop-based role working Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, with overtime available.

Key Responsibilities:

Routine maintenance and general repairs of machinery such as compactors, loading shovels, conveyors, and other plant equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic issues.
Ensure all machinery is maintained to the highest standards, in line with safety regulations.
Support breakdown repairs to minimise downtime.
Work closely with the workshop team to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter or in a similar role.
Strong mechanical knowledge of plant machinery, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and welding (desirable).
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance.
