Location: Aylesbury
Salary: Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: January 2025 (or as soon as possible)

Are you passionate about shaping the early years of children's education? We are working on behalf of a large and dynamic primary school in Aylesbury who are looking for a dedicated and creative KS1 Class Teacher to join the vibrant team. They are committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for the pupils, and we are seeking a teacher who shares the values and enthusiasm for teaching Key Stage 1.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of children in KS1
Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and independence
Work closely with other staff to develop a broad and balanced curriculum that inspires a love of learning
Assess pupil progress, provide feedback, and set challenging but achievable goals
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support children's overall development
Contribute to the wider school community, including extra-curricular activities and school events

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in KS1 or a thorough understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
A passion for teaching young learners with the ability to motivate and inspire children
Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Commitment to continuous professional development and teamwork
A positive and caring attitude towards pupils and the wider school community
