The Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting children with high SEN needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting students with ADHD, Autism (verbal & non verbal), ASD, and various learning difficulties
- Providing one-on-one support and group assistance within the classroom
- Following tailored learning strategies to meet each child's unique needs
- Collaborating with teachers and support staff to create a harmonious and productive learning environment
- Monitoring and documenting pupil progress and communicating findings to the teaching team and parents.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking candidates who have:
- SEN Experience: Proven experience working with children who have high SEN needs
- Classroom Experience: Previous experience supporting students in a classroom setting
- Teaching Assistant qualification - prefered
- Psychology Background - considered
