Location: Sheffield Area
Position Type: Permanent
Salary: £17.00 per hour (Overtime: £25.50 per hour)
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday (6:00 AM - 4:00 PM), Overtime on Friday (6:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
Our client, a well-established company in the Sheffield area, is seeking an experienced Plater / Fabricator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional with a background in heavy plate work to secure a permanent position with immediate start following a successful interview.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fabricate and assemble heavy plate components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
* Operate various fabrication tools and machinery, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
* Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain workflow.
* Conduct inspections to ensure all work meets required standards and specifications.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in heavy plate work as a Plater / Fabricator.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
