MPS1 - UPS3 Payscale - Experience preferred, however they are open to ECT applications

Be a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE or a Bachelor of Education. Early Careers Teacher (ECT) will also be considered
Have the ability and experience of teaching in Year 1 with good knowledge
Have strong classroom management skills
Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and use creative approach
Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a teamAcademics Ltd are currently working with a Primary school in the London Borough of Hillingdon who are looking for a Year 1 Teacher to join their team.

The Year 1 teacher would ideally have previous experience as a full-time class teacher. However, they are open to considering ECT's and have a leadership team who can provide excellent coaching and mentoring support.

The Primary school in Harrow is four form entry and has been Ofsted rated as good. The behaviour policy is fully implemented across KS1, and adhered to throughout the school, resulting in pupils being aware of expectations.

The school will also provide the Year 1 Teacher with targeted CPD opportunities to develop skills and encourage career progression.
