Accounting Apprenticeship, Suited to school leavers, aged 17-20, £10ph, Central London (No experience required)

Bennett & Game are delighted to be representing a forward thinking accountant practice, who are experiencing significant growth, and are looking to on board a young and hungry trainee accountant, to grow their career, alongside the companies growth.

They are able to provide a range of apprenticeships including:

Level 2 or Level 4 Apprenticeships - AAT - Suited to school or college leavers
Level 7 Apprenticeships - ACCA - Suited to graduates

This is an amazing opportunity to gain some valuable experience whilst becoming a qualified accountant. These courses are equivalent to £20k worth of study fees, therefore, it is a great chance to gain your qualifications in an affordable manner

Trainee Accountant Job Overview

Bookkeeping - Assist in maintaining accurate financial records for clients
Accounts Preparation - Support the preparation of financial statements for a range of clients
VAT Returns - Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT returns
Tax Compliance - Providing support in preparing personal tax returns and corporate tax returns
Payroll assistance - Assist in processing payroll for clients
Client Interaction - Communicate with clients to gather financial information and resolve basic queries
Use of accounting software - Learn to use accounting software such, Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
Administrative duties - Help with general office tasks

Trainee Accountant Job Requirements

Maths and English GCSE's are essential - Grades 6+ are preferred
Any studies in Business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting A Levels or BTEC's are preferred
Able to commute to office in Central London
UK citizen, speaking good English
Professional individual, well dressed, and well presented
Ambitious, organised, motivated, positive, and confident individuals are preferred

Trainee Accountant Salary & Benefits

Qualification support. Onboarded on an excellent apprenticeship scheme as detailed above, to become AAT or ACCA qualified
On-the-job training, receiving hands-on experience working alongside qualified accountants and gaining exposure to real-world accounting tasks
Mentorship - working alongside senior members of the team providing constant support and expertise
£10per hour working 30 hours per week
4 weeks holiday + bank holidays
