Job Title: EHCP Annual Review Co-ordinator
Location: Croydon Council
Rate: £20.92 - £28.43 PEr hour
Contract Type: Full-Time, Agency.
About the Role:

Croydon Council is seeking an organized and proactive EHCP Annual Review Co-ordinator to join our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the annual review process of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) for children and young people with special educational needs. You will work closely with families, schools, and professionals to ensure that EHCPs remain relevant and responsive to the evolving needs of each child or young person.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate the annual review process for EHCPs, ensuring all reviews are completed within statutory timeframes.

* Liaise with schools, families, and multi-agency teams to gather updated information and assessments required for the review process.

* Prepare and distribute annual review paperwork, ensuring that all relevant parties are informed and involved.

* Review and amend EHCPs as necessary following annual reviews, ensuring that plans reflect the current needs and provision for each child or young person.

* Ensure that all documentation and records are accurately maintained and updated in line with council and statutory guidelines.

* Provide advice and guidance to schools, parents, and professionals regarding the annual review process and SEND legislation.

* Work closely with SEND Case Officers and other team members to ensure a coordinated approach to EHCP management.

* Support the SEND team in identifying and addressing any issues that arise during the annual review process, ensuring that appropriate actions are taken to resolve them.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Experience in a SEND-related role, ideally within education or local government, with a focus on EHCP processes.

* Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and the statutory requirements for EHCPs and annual reviews.

* Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple reviews and meet deadlines.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with families, schools, and professionals.

* Good attention to detail and the ability to manage complex documentation.

* Proficiency in IT systems, including the use of databases and Microsoft Office applications.

* A commitment to supporting children and young people with SEND and ensuring they receive the best possible care and support.
