The Planet Group has recently been engaged by a market leading Aerospace company to recruit an Employee Relations Partner for a permanent position in Wolverhampton.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with managers on employee relations (ER) issues, including performance, policy breaches, sickness, discipline, grievances, and flexible working.
* Support restructuring projects (redundancy, TUPE).
* Advise managers during Disciplinary Advisor Committee calls, guiding them in making recommendations.
* Support on cases reaching ACAS early conciliation and tribunals.
* Manage a diverse caseload efficiently, ensuring adherence to policies and mitigating risks.
* Provide insights to influence all organizational levels.
* Assist the Head of Employee Relations in maintaining and improving ER data recording systems.
* Stay updated on industry trends and case law.
* Promote and drive company culture.
Requirements:
* Strong legal background with solid ER experience.
* In-depth knowledge of Employee Relations and HR best practices.
* CIPD (or equivalent) qualification preferred.
* Ability to partner with HR and Legal teams to manage ER cases effectively.
* Excellent written/verbal communication, coaching, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
* Analytical skills to interpret data and influence decisions.
* Strong working knowledge of employment law to identify and mitigate risks.
* Ability to influence leadership and build trust quickly.
