Our client is a well established public sector organisation based in Lincoln, who have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator with purchase and sales ledger experience to join their team as soon as possible!

The role will be temporary on going initially but does have the potential to turn permanent for the right candidate.

This will be a part time role working 18 hours per week. The hours of work will be 9am-3pm and the days of working can be flexible (the office is open from Monday to Friday).

The pay rate for the role will be £12.42 per hour.

Supporting the Financial Officer in the day-to-day management of the company accounts, purchase and sales ledger, your duties will include:-

· Process and record supplier invoices and payment transactions
· Reconcile purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices to ensure accuracy
· Assist with supplier queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
· Maintain accurate supplier records and monitor payment terms
· Monitor accounts receivable, following up on outstanding payments
· Generate monthly reports on sales ledger performance
· Provide excellent customer service by addressing client queries related to invoices
· General office administration such as assisting in maintaining financial records and filing systems and supporting the finance team with month end closing activities

To be considered for the role you will need to have previous experience with sales and purchase ledger, office administration experience and be IT literate with the use of MS Office and accounting software.
