Due to a business growth Time 4 Recruitment have a great opportunity for a Temporary Finishing Foreman in Chelmsford for up to 12 months work - to join an expanding, high reputable, award winning residential development company who build exceptional quality homes in desirable areas of the UK.

This is a 12 month project in Chelmsford which will involve the construction of 26 Flats – of which 15 are ground floor and 9 top floor which will include a 100 ton steel structure to fit out..

As Finishing Foreman you will report to the Site Manager and oversee both the external envelope package but also the fit out of the apartments. This very much a site based, hands on – where you will be driving the subcontractors forward, with a strong attention to detail and quality finish – within set budgets and time frames.

To be considered for this role you must have experience as Finishing Foreman in both externals and fit out !!

Key Responsibilities:
You main role as Finishing Foreman will be to manage all aspects of the delivery of the externals and fits out packages in line with Company Policy's and processes, paying particular attention to Health and Safety. You will plan to deliver all aspects of the external and internal packages within the agreed timescales - communicating issues as they arise in a positive and timely manner and implementing the response to minimise disruption and delay together with cost. You will lead the liaison between all parties (client, statutory bodies, Consultants, Sub contractors, Site Operatives and Supervisors and the Site Management and Contracts Manager) and ·ensure adequate supervision, labour and materials are resourced. You will regularly update the current specification, and drawings are issued and adhered and regularly communicate progress / issues relating to the delivery of projects to the Construction Director. Experience and Certificates Required

* Must have experience as finishing foreman on new build residential projects

* SMSTS Qualified / Certificate

* Fire Marshal certificate

* First Aid 3-day qualified

* CSCS skill card Holder

* Competent using Microsoft Project
