The position of Civil Drainage Design Engineer in Central London offers a salary between £35,000 and £45,000, dependent on experience, and reports to the Principal Civil Engineer at a civil and structural engineering consultancy.

Key Benefits:

Professional Development : Full support with ICE membership and exam fees, including study leave and exam preparation workshops with in-office ICE mentors.
Holiday Entitlement : 23 days of annual leave plus bank holidays. After a year of service, you earn an additional day annually, capped at 5 extra days over 5 years. Up to 5 additional days can be earned through overtime.
Flexible Working : Standard working hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with Fridays ending at 5:00 pm. However, there's flexibility to start between 7:30 am and 9:30 am and finish between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm.
Work-Life Balance: Facilities like showers and bike racks promote cycling to work, and there are 9 parking spaces available.
Pension Scheme: After 3 months of employment, you'll be auto-enrolled in a Royal London workplace pension with a 3% employer contribution.
Eye Test Reimbursement : Up to £25.00 for eye tests.
Role/Responsibilities:

Collaboration : Work closely with architects, design team members, and clients on various projects.
Project Management: Be accountable for the successful delivery of projects assigned by senior engineers.
Technical Design :
- Develop Civils 3D drainage models and drawings.

- Produce standard AutoCAD drainage details.

- Use MicroDrainage software for designing drainage systems, perform calculations with TEDDS, and handle manual calculations.

- Plan pavement structures and concrete joint layouts.

- Conduct cut & fill assessments using Civils 3D.

- Use AutoTrack software for vehicle tracking.

- Produce SuDS strategy and prepare reports and submission packs for RIBA design stages and Building Control.

This role requires proficiency in the relevant software and hands-on experience in civil drainage design, with a collaborative and detail-oriented mindset
