As they continue to expand, they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer / Design Engineer to join their engineering team in Fareham.
The Package:
Salary: Starting at £45,000, DOE

As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for:
Developing detailed 3D models and engineering drawings for mechanical components and assemblies.
Conducting simulations and analyses to ensure designs meet stringent performance and safety requirements.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and procurement, to optimize designs for cost-effectiveness and manufacturability.
Assisting in the prototyping and testing of mechanical systems, analysing results, and refining designs based on findings.
Providing technical support during the production phase, addressing any design-related issues that arise.Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
5+ years of experience in mechanical design, ideally within a manufacturing or product development environment.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
