Pay: £100-£120 per day
Location: Camden, London
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full-time, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual eager to make a positive impact on a young child's life? Do you have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs, particularly in the Early Years? We have an exciting opportunity that calls for your unique skills and caring nature.

We are seeking a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child in our Early Years provision. This temporary position offers the chance to significantly influence a young person's development while gaining valuable experience in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one support to a child with special educational needs, assisting in their educational and social development.
Develop and implement tailored learning plans and interventions in collaboration with the SENCO and classroom team.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes the child's independence and well-being.
Utilize effective communication and behavioral strategies to facilitate the child's engagement in activities.
Offer emotional and social support, helping the child build essential life skills.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the child's needs are met.

Job Requirements:

Experience or qualifications in supporting children with Autism or Special Educational Needs, particularly in Early Years.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
The ability to adapt to the unique learning styles and needs of the child.
