We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, optimising and troubleshooting CNC programs for complex aerospace components, ensuring precision and compliance with engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software based on technical drawings and engineering specifications.
Optimise machine performance to increase efficiency and maintain high-quality output.
Collaborate with engineers and machinists to ensure seamless production processes.
Perform program simulations and testing to verify accuracy and reduce production errors.
Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues and adjust programs as necessary.
Maintain documentation and records of all CNC programs and revisions.Requirements:
Proven experience as an Offline CNC Programmer, preferably within the aerospace industry.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., CATIA, Mastercam, Siemens NX, or similar).
Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and tooling.
Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and GD&T.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations is an advantage.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC programmer to contribute to high-precision aerospace projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
This contract is to start asap and run until the end of 2025. For this contract, we can only offer PAYE contracts
