HR Administrator
Location: Sale, M33 3NH
Salary: Band 6 Points 19 - 22 Salary - £29,777- £31,364 pro-rata (actual salary £26,269 - £27,669 per annum)
Hours: Term Time Only + 10 Days, 36.25 hours per week - 8.15am – 4.15pm, Monday to Friday
The Single Academy Trust school is an oversubscribed, selective 11-18 State Grammar School situated in Sale which is in the Trafford Borough.
The Role
The HR Administrator is a key member of the administrative staff within the school. Organised, flexible, friendly and self-motivated in their approach, they will have a calm manner and an ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
They will have experience of managing recruitment and HR procedures with meticulous attention to detail and due regard for confidentiality and safeguarding processes.
They will also provide efficient, and confidential administrative support to the Headteacher and other members of the Senior Leadership Team.
The school is willing to support the right candidate with the necessary training in order to successfully complete the role.
Duties Include:
* To oversee HR Administrative duties in relation to Recruitment, Safeguarding, Payroll, Personnel records and returns administration & liaise with Business Manager and Finance Manager.
* To promote and safeguard the welfare of all children and young persons for whom the post holder has responsibility and with whom the post holder comes into contact.
* To ensure the Single Central Record is maintained to the statutory requirements and ensure that safer recruitment practices are adhered to
* To provide specific administrative support to the Headteacher and members of the Senior Leadership Team
Skills and Qualifications
* 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including A*-C in English and Mathematics
* A Level qualification or equivalent
* Minimum 2 years of working in a HR generalist role
* Experience of using HR systems, inputting data and maintaining systems
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
* Knowledge of HR policies/employment law, administrative procedures and regulations
* Knowledge of the recruitment process
