The company is a small - medium, sized family run business who mostly operate within the high-end residential market as well as some commercial projects all ranging in size from £1m - £5m.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor would be involved with two projects simultaneously as follows:

·Project 1: Dalston, a £3m commercial refurb which is a few months away from final accounts.
This will be finished in January so needs a Quantity Surveyor to come in and maximise the profit as they head towards handover and final account.

·Project 2: Islington, a £2m commercial roof extension (recently started). The Quantity Surveyor would initially be involved with procuring sub-contract packages and materials, then move on to placing orders, management of project RFI/CVI schedules, preparation of monthly valuations and substantiation of project variations for client sign-off/agreement. You would also be involved in project/progress meetings with the site team. Expected to take this job through to completion and final account.

This is a nice opportunity to work for a family firm who treat self-employed workers as though they are part of the furniture (in a good way!).
