Azure Platform Engineer - Commodities - Kubernetes/DevOps/Docker/Terraform/PowerShell

The ideal candidate will have

• Expert level cloud infrastructure experience, including server, storage, networking, and applications, and PaaS products such as Azure SQL, WebApps, AppServices, Private Links, and container orchestration tools.
• Experience in designing and managing complex Kubernetes environments.
• Experience and proven track record of building, managing, and migrating solutions in a private cloud environment.
• Experience of DevOps practises including Scripting and automation (IaC) with skills in Terraform and ARM.
• Strong knowledge of cloud design patterns and best practices including Microsoft Migrate and Modernise approach.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products such as Azure AD, ADFS, Azure AD Connect, SAML, etc.

The desired candidate will have

• Knowledge of common database and caching technologies, such as Azure SQL, CosmosDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, Memcache, or Redis.
• Experience of containers and container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes and AKS.
• Exposure to iterative/agile development methodologies and experience of enabling team delivery through technology.
• An appreciation for SRE and monitoring using tools such as ELK stack.
