Senior Finance Analyst
Job Description:
This is a key role in helping deliver its financials by taking end-to-end ownership of the P&L for one of Group Functions within the Group Costs team. As a Senior Finance Analyst (SFA), you will manage the budget for your function, partner with senior stakeholders, and oversee the management of Risks and Opportunities. You'll also ensure that initiatives to deliver Long Range Plan (LRP) targets remain on track, using your influencing skills to provide recommendations on how to drive value.
What you'll do:
Build and own strong relationships with the management team for your business area, delivering analysis, reporting, insight, and financial guidance.
Take full responsibility for the financial management of your assigned Group Function, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Manage key deliverables, including the budget, long-range plan, and monthly results, ensuring alignment with LRP targets.
Proactively manage Risks and Opportunities within your area, identifying potential impacts on financial performance and proposing actionable solutions.
Prepare management reporting and provide insightful analysis that brings a commercial lens to financial performance.
Build strong relationships across the finance team and the wider business, acting as a trusted finance partner.
Manage, mentor, and coach finance teams below the SFA level, ensuring accountability for delivery through them alongside your own work.
