D365 Functional Consultant (Microsoft Dynamics AX/Dynamics 365 F&O)

Role Overview:

Seeking a skilled Functional Consultant with experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX/F&O to join an expanding Microsoft Dynamics practice. As a member of the professional services team, you will work closely with clients, analysing their business processes, providing expert solutions, and advising on industry best practices to ensure the successful implementation and optimization of Dynamics 365 F&O.

Location: Remote, with the option for relocation: the role offers flexibility for remote work but also relocation within the EU.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure trust and successful project outcomes.
• Collaborate with clients to analyse their business needs and define project deliverables.
• Leverage your expertise in Finance, Asset Management, Project Accounting, Distribution & Trade, HR, Manufacturing, and Maintenance processes within Dynamics 365/AX.
• Design custom Dynamics AX solutions, including integrations and module customizations.
• Serve as the liaison between functional and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage large workstreams, ensuring projects stay within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Provide end-user training and support for a smooth transition to managed services.

Required Skills:

• 3-7 years of experience in a Functional Consultant role focused on Finance, Asset Management, Project Accounting, HR, or Manufacturing.
• Strong background in ERP solutions (preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX/Dynamics 365 F&O).
• Experience in at least two full life cycle ERP implementations.
• Excellent stakeholder and people management skills.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication abilities.
