We are seeking a Buyer to join the team based in our London office. The role will be responsible for procuring, scheduling, and managing the plant and tool hire needs of the business, ensuring the appropriate equipment is on-site aligned to the project needs.

Role Details

- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.

- Establish and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers.

- Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure favourable pricing and conditions.

- Work closely with stakeholders to understand specific requirements.

- Ensure that purchased product meets quality standards and specifications.

- Collaborate with suppliers to address any issues related to product quality.

- Monitor and control procurement costs.

- Negotiate cost-effective deals while maintaining quality standards.

- Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising product integrity.

- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities.

- Prepare and manage purchase orders, contracts, and other relevant documentation.

- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders such as managers, store planners, or logistics teams.

Requirements

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.

- Proficient in using procurement software and tools.

ASAP Start Available, Salary negotiable based on experience
