Cleaning Area Manager - North Midlands Up to £35,000 per annum (Depending on experience) + Car Allowance.Monday - Friday role!
This role is to lead and develop a team of supervisors across 5 client locations - Hartlepool, Shotton, Wednesfield, Warwick and Corby
As a Cleaning Area Manager, you will lead the cleaning supervisors to ensure delivery of a first class and compliant cleaning services across all locations. you will have previous experience managing multi-site cleaning services and ideally have a BIC's qualification. You will manage client relationships across the sites you are responsible for. About the roleManagement of Cleaning Supervisors with the delivery of relevant services across five Tata Steel locations.
React to specific client requests as they arise.
Manage client relationships and ensure a collaborative and proactive relationship.
Lead monthly operations meetings with each site client across your area of responsibility.
Awareness of budget controls and spend limits with responsibility of the labour and sundries spend across all sites.
All areas of labour management, including; absence management, timekeeping, performance and training.
Implement all relevant HSE procedures within each unit and review them as appropriate.
Ensure that all HSE incidents are correctly reported and investigated with relevant reviews of work procedures.
Maintain up to date training records for all employees under your control.
Report HSE issues beyond your control to your line manager.
Quality performance through auditing of the 14forty staff in the performance of their tasks, workmanship, housekeeping and customer satisfaction.
Maintain required internal records to support the management of the contract, for example but not limited to; work activity, orders, invoices, time & attendance.
Prepare monthly reports for Compass and Client as required.
About YouProven experience in remote management of frontline teams.
Experience managing multi-site cleaning services.
BICs and IOSH would be an advantage
Cleaning management / supervision experience.
Ability to communicate effectively with different level stakeholders.
Previous experience of managing ongoing client relationships.
Full UK Driving licence (mobile role with company car)
Good organisation and communication skills.
Experiencing of managing and developing a team.
