Role Overview:
As a Pastoral Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' emotional and social development. You will work closely with students to promote positive behavior, enhance their well-being, and help them navigate challenges both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide pastoral support to students, addressing their social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Build strong relationships with students, families, and staff to create a supportive community.
Develop and implement programs and interventions to promote student well-being.
Monitor and track student progress, providing guidance and support where needed.
Collaborate with teaching staff to create a positive school culture and environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Relevant experience in a pastoral role or similar position.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting students.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies.
