Assistant Branch Manager - Milton Keynes
44.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5pm, alternate Saturdays 8am - 12pm, no Sunday working)
We are seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to join this high performing, well established branch in Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic opportunity to join We a long established organisation with specialist decorating branches located throughout the UK, offering a fantastic opportunity to supervise and help build a successful branch.
The Role:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will help manage and motivate the team to achieve branch and company objectives.
Delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, you will deal with customer queries in a prompt and effective manner, consistently meeting customer requirements.
You will build strong relationships with customers and suppliers, merchandisers and other partners and help organise events and initiatives to promote good relations and sales development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising the team and store
* Offering advice on products to customers
* Mixing paints for customers
* Serving trade and retail customers
* Helping unload deliveries
* Ordering stock via a computerised system
* Restocking shelves
* Serving customers using a computerised till
* Upselling and supporting sales growth of the branch
We’re looking for an individual who has a strong customer focus and previous supervisory/team leader experience.
44.5 hours per week - alternate Saturday mornings and no Sunday working
Knowledge of decorative products is not essential as full product training will be provided. Candidates must hold a full driving licence.
