Intervention Support - Full time, long-term, Wandsworth - £90-£100 per day - SEMH School in South West London
The Role - Intervention Support
* Primary and Secondary opportunities
* SEMH Setting
* Monday to Friday
* 8.am-4pm
* Long-term, full time ONLY
* Classroom support, 1:1, or group support
As a Intervention Support, you will be the appointed person to support students along their learning journey. You will be responsible for supporting the class teacher/s as well as other support staff with student behaviours and emotional triggers.
For this Intervention Support role, you will need to be confident with working with young vulnerable people, have good communication, be professional and calm as well as nurturing and proactive.
You will need to get to know the student/s and build positive rapport whilst adapting lessons and activities to cater to various learning abilities.
The School - Intervention Support
This SEMH all-through boys school is based near Wandsworth Common / Tooting bec. They cater to SEMH Students with a variety of education needs and abilities. They offer an inclusive and dynamic environment offering primary and secondary curriculum as well as a therapy farm and outreach support.
The school has great transport links and free on-site parking.
The school has a therapy farm that staff and students access throughout the week
The school want Intervention Support candidates on a full-time basis across the school on a long-term basis therefore, you MUST be able to commit to these hours!
