Lead Arborist - Salford - £19 per hour. Temp to permanent position - (£31,500 - £34,000 doe + benefits package)

Undertake all types of Arboriculture work in areas and properties as per customers specifications, relevant to the area, carrying out all duties. You will have main responsibility for the general maintenance of tree stocks and undertake Arboriculture works to ensure a healthy and safe tree stock. Experience of working within a social housing environment would be beneficiary.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate must possess a full, clean driving license along with qualifications and experience in arboriculture. Essential skills and certifications include:

* Proficiency in chipper and stump grinding operations.

* Level 2 Award in Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-cutting (CS30.1 & CS30.2).

* Level 2 Award in Felling & Processing Trees Up to 380mm (CS31).

* Level 3 Award in Felling & Processing Trees Over 380mm (CS32).

* Level 2 Award in Removing Branches and Breaking Down Crowns (CS37) – Desirable.

* Level 2 Award in Accessing a Tree Using a Rope & Harness (CS38.1).

* Level 3 Award in Aerial Tree Rescue Operations (CS38.2).

* Level 2 Award in Aerial Rescue & Accessing a Tree with a Rope & Harness (CS38).

* Level 3 Award in Aerial Cutting of Trees Using Free Fall Techniques (CS39).

* Level 3 in Aerial Tree Pruning (CS40).

* Level 3 Award in Aerial Tree Rigging (CS41).

Candidates with a certification in First Aid will be preferred
