Overview: Our client, a healthcare facility in Elko, NV, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for their busy 15-bed Women's Services Department. This role involves working three 12-hour night shifts per week. We are looking for a dedicated professional to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Record all relevant patient data accurately and concisely.
Perform technical aspects of patient care in accordance with established protocols.
Ensure patient privacy and safety at all times.
Accurately interpret and document fetal monitor tracings.
Safely place fetal scalp electrodes when necessary.
Prepare patients for C-sections efficiently and safely.
Assist in vaginal deliveries, including vacuum or forceps deliveries.
Provide appropriate newborn care during delivery.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of physician orders for postpartum patients and epidural anesthesia protocols.
