Job Description
At Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, unparalleled service and luxury await guests of Privado, our exclusive 125 room “hotel within a hotel” villa experience. As the Privado Assistant Manager, your leadership will foster an engaged team of service professionals who bring our elevated service standards to life – and turn moments into memories for our guests.
Reporting to the Privado Rooms Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for all aspects of guest service and satisfaction for the Privado Villas
Lead and manage the Privado team to promote an environment of respect, collaboration and accountability
Track and forecast Privado food & beverage volume daily
Maintain oversight of guest billing and accounting
Develop and maintain strong guest relationships to ensure guest loyalty
Demonstrate strong and effective written and verbal communication with all other departments, highlighting guest requirements to ensure the proper level of service is delivered at all times
Handle guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying proper areas
Maintain oversight of inventory for Privado food & beverage as well as hotel collateral, place orders as needed
Oversee room conditions, working alongside Housekeeping and Engineering leadership to ensure routine maintenance in accordance with standards for superior quality
Assist with the screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new colleagues
Balance operational, administrative and colleague needs
Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
Follow all safety policies
Other duties as assigned
