Job Description

Position: Employment & Training Support Professional 1 

Location: Bloomfield, CT

Rate of Pay: $18.00 per hour; plus $40 bi-weekly stipend for second language

Hours:  36 hours per week; Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 9:00am-4:00pm; Tuesday 8:00am-4:00pm

Summary: 

Provides orientation, training, and supervision of individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities include implementing employment plans designed to maximize worker progress and assure job is performed to specifications. Individuals with job coaching, human services, direct care, and residential experience strongly encouraged to apply! 

 Qualifications:  

High School/GED or Hi-SET plus 1 year related experience and/or training. One year supervisory or human service experience desired. Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations.

 Requirements: 

Must be able to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently.

Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email, and internet essential. 

Must have a valid driver's license, 3 years driving experience, good driving record, use of vehicle and willingness to transport participants in personal vehicle. 

Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, offices and community organizations.
