Our client, who are a luxury brand are seeking an Import/ Export / Logistics Team Leader to lead the Distribution team in their modern Essex warehouse and office. This is a fantastic opportunity for progression if you have Import / Export and Logistics experience at a level to lead a fantastic small team and benefit from the opportunity to step up and progress.

Overview of the responsibilities:

Control inward IPR shipments, ensuring correct customs procedures are used Goods receipt and 100% quality check inward products.
Solid understanding of the import / export documentation - IRP shipments.
Mentor, guide, and oversee the distribution team to ensure orders are delivered to a high standard (product and packaging), safely and on time
Update and manage aspects of the Production Report
Manage in house corporate personalizing and engraving schedule Goods Receipt
Track and chase inward shipments from suppliers, escalating issues where necessary to ensure shipments arrive on time
Day-End Report to all relevant staff on all goods in and goods out Stock Control
Ensure stock items are protected and stored appropriately, and the warehouse is always kept neat and orderly
Record stock movements; track and control samples including high value and bespoke items e.g., silverware and samples
Perform quarterly stock takes, investigate any differences and report results
Provide accurate and timely delivery quotes to sales team identifying different options and costs, including allowances for duties and taxes
Control outward shipments of IPR shipments ensuring all documentation is logged for quarterly review.
Mentor, guide and lead a fantastic team in the warehouse.Import - Export Logistics Team Leader - What we are looking for

Solid understanding of Logistics. customs, imports, and exports
Ability to develop and mentor Distribution Team
Stock management and logistics
Ability to use and improve internal systems, including procedures and controls
Full, clean driving license is an essential requirement
