Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Design Engineer:

Lead the design of electrical hardware from concept through to production.
Translate customer requirements into precise, manufacturable designs.
Simulate, prototype, and analyze test data to refine product designs.
Develop and review design documentation, including component selection and BOM creation.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure best practices in implementation.
Essential Skills of the Electrical Design Engineer:

Expertise in electrical design and development, with experience in Solidworks Electrical or similar software.
Familiarity with military, aerospace, or other highly regulated industries.
Knowledge of electrical and safety standards, including experience with ISO 9001 and EMC regulations.
Ability to present engineering solutions effectively in project meetings and reviews.
Security Clearance:

UK National, able to obtain security clearance (Baseline)
