45,000 to be eligible you must be able to demonstrate at least 2-3 years’ experience in the insourcing sector
55,000 to be eligible you must be able to demonstrate at least 4-6 years’ experience in the insourcing sector
65,000 to be eligible you must be able to demonstrate at least 7+ years’ experience in the insourcing sector

Job Description

Pertemps Medical is going through an exciting period of growth and change. We are seeking to add to our brilliant Clinical Insourcing Team to support our significant multiyear investment and expansion plans – building upon our strong ethos of patient safety, high clinical standards, robust team support, and sector-leading dynamism.

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to set up and run our NHS clinical insourcing contracts. Successful candidates must have previous experience running such services.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management and Planning

Operationally manage insourcing services to deliver excellent patient care effectively and efficiently
To manage the setup of new insourcing services and maintain service standards throughout the contract
Project planning and effective communication between Pertemps Medical, NHS Trust/Health Board and clinical teams to ensure service delivery timeframe are met
Deliver operational key performance indicators agreed within the contract
Ensure systems are in place to monitor and evaluate performance against service objectives
Develop and maintain effective communication both within the services and with relevant teams.
Contribute to the effectiveness of the team by reflecting on own and team activities and making suggestions on ways to improve and enhance the team’s performance and service expansion
Able to provide/organise “on-call” support to teams as required by the organisation
To lead and motivate the operational team support (service Coordinators) to ensure a high standard of professionalism, efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation in the delivery of patient care
To support the Clinical Governance Lead with complaint/incident and compliment management following Pertemps Medical Insourcing policy and procedures
To support the Head of Clinical Services with the operational element of tender submissions e.g. capacity planning/operational setup capabilities.
To promote Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, Health & Safety, Quality & Continuous Improvement across the Clinical Services division and the wider Pertemps Medical company.
To support the ongoing development of the Clinical Services division and future projects e.g., CQC (Care Quality Commission) registration/introduction of digital/patient outcome systems.
To support KPI’s
To assist with bids and tenders
To assist in the management of frameworks
Must-Have:

- Experience of running insourcing services within an NHS Trust/private hospital or insourcing/outsourcing company.
- Extensive knowledge of the NHS and patient pathways in multiple specialties
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Working to KPIs
- Contract management experience
- Excellent IT skills
