Overview:
Works as a member of the Home Care Team to ensure the efficient management of the daily patient schedule.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrates proficiency with the Home Care scheduling system and follows workflows to ensure all patient visits are scheduled.
Addresses any scheduling changes or other concerns within the agency expected time frames.
Communicates with Home Care field staff to ensure accurate schedules and that schedules meet productivity expectations.
Utilizes system reports to ensure visits are scheduled with correct codes to ensure regulatory requirements are met. (Specifically Therapy reassessment time frames)
Able to communicate effectively and timely with referred patient's to ensure they are appropriate for Home Care services.
Verifies visit address and any specific needs or concerns verbalized by the patient or the caregiver.
Answers the telephone in a professional manner, addresses the reason for the call as able or redirects calls to another Team Member.
Willing to learn other office functions to assist as needed and provide coverage as needed.
Other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years clerical experience.
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Previous experience in computerized scheduling
Computer training course or acquired competency with computer skills.
Ability work in a fast paced environment, prioritize tasks.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Excellent communication skills.
Credentials:
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent
Entry:
USD $17.00/Hr.
Expert:
USD $26.35/Hr.
