The Office Support / Junior Office Manager role has a salary maximum of £25k pro rata.

The role is 4 days a week (Monday to Thursday) and would be an office based, no remote working.

The day rate is £96.15/day and it will be an 8 hour day. Commencing 08.30 to 5.30 with a half hour lunch or 8.30 to 6pm with 1 hour lunch. Initially it will be a temporary role with a view to becoming permanent.

Key activities:

Dealing with post Monday to Thursday. Ensuring everything is opened and scanned to the relevant people
Prepare refreshments for meetings as requested
Facilities - keeping the office looking smart
IT support issues - e.g. if the meeting room tech doesn't work they liaise with BlueCube our IT provider
Point of contact for stationery orders for all offices
Checking there's enough cutlery, cups, glasses etc in the kitchens and order if required
Keeping an eye on milk levels at Coleman Street i.e. if we have too much/or too little and increasing/decreasing the order as necessary
Looking after the new coffee machine, emptying the tray for the used coffee grains. Keeping an eye on supplies and ordering as necessary.
Taking responsibility for the contact inbox and forwarding on to the appropriate person as necessary
Keeping an eye on light bulbs in the kitchen area and ordering replacements when necessary
Informing reception of any visitors
Booking lunches for L&D as required
Informing reception if office is too hot/too cold
Reporting access control issues to IT
Making sure packages go to the correct person i.e. not left lying around in the office
Point of contact for reception if a visitor is in reception without an appointment
Cleaning issues - e.g. informing the cleaners of any spills so they are dealt with quickly, ensuring clear desk policy
Checking furniture - making sure chairs are put back in meeting rooms, reporting broken chairs, etc.
Stationery - ordering supplies and regularly checking stock levels for everyday items. Making sure photocopiers have paper
Reporting faults with photocopiers
Responding to requests to book meeting roomsThe role will report to Anne Hayden-Ives.
