Kenna Recruitment is excited to offer a fantastic new opportunity with one of our top-tier Main Contractors, a valued partner we work closely with.This client boasts an extensive pipeline of projects lined up for the next two years minimum.
Overview:
As a vital member of the site-based project team, you will oversee the management and organization of all project-related documentation and information. This includes the structure and upkeep of the project's Common Data Environment (CDE), Work in Progress (WIP) environment, and other relevant information management systems. You will serve as the central point of contact for all aspects of project information management, providing training, support, and continuous communication to the project team. Your role is key in ensuring consistency across the live project, maintaining rigorous control and traceability of documentation from project initiation through to completion and handover.
Responsibilities:
* Draft and maintain the project Information Management Protocol (IMP)
* Ensure project compliance with information exchange and security requirements documented in the IMP
* Ensure that locations and processes for creating and storing project information are defined and agreed at project start-up (as per the Information Management Register (IMR) and Task Information Delivery Plans TIDP and Master Information Delivery Plan MIDP)
* Provide clear direction to the project team on the use of the defined project information management systems and tools and drive ongoing adherence – when required upload documents to the CDE
* Allocate/control document numbering/naming systems for project documentation and carry out data checks on all incoming shared/published documents and initiate and manage required workflows
* Generate reports and monitor data analytics to provide feedback to the project team on project performance throughout the project lifecycle
* Ongoing monitoring and governance of the file structure of the CDE and the project shared drive, monitoring document submission performance progress, coordinating the review process and ensuring deadlines are met
* Providing continuous improvement feedback to the Regional Digital Delivery Managers and the central Digital Information team on both performance of key systems/tools and group standard templates/procedures and forms.
* Understanding of BS EN ISO 19650 Parts 1 & 2 standard for information management and application during the delivery and handover phase of a built asset.
Experience/Knowledge:
* Main Contractor experience ideally with a Tier 1 provider
* Construction site-based experience
* Good practical experience and application of ISO19650 and PAS 8672
* Good level of ASITE admin/user experience
* Experience in implementing at either project, region, or group level Information Management Strategies
* Ideally some BIM experience and software experience (eg Navisworks, Dalux, Bimcollab etc)
