Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and multi-skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth daily operations of our home by performing various maintenance tasks, including repairs, property and grounds upkeep, and renovations as needed. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out basic DIY tasks to ensure the upkeep of the building and its facilities.

Perform repairs and maintenance duties on property and grounds.

Undertake renovations and improvement projects as required.

Collaborate effectively with team members to support the daily running of the home.

Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Maintain an organised approach to managing and completing tasks.

Requirements:

Proven experience in basic DIY and maintenance work.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong awareness and understanding of Health and Safety regulations.

Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Recognised appropriate trade qualification (e.g., plumber, electrician, painter, decorator).
