Quality Systems Engineer

Opportunity to join an innovative market leading technology SME with a successful product portfolio which has led to expansion of its technical and innovation team to develop new products for market.

The Quality Engineer will support the business by providing a full range of QA and problem solving processes including quality system documentation, auditing, capability studies, CI initiatives, non-conformance management, root cause analysis etc.

What you’ll be doing:

* Maintain quality documentation and procedures to ensure correct manufacturing processes are followed

* Work with production team to investigate and report any quality concerns / issues

* Coach and advise production and quality team members on quality standards, corrective actions etc

* Maintain QMS, logs, registers and industry standards documentation

* Support with audits

* Support product testing

Skills and experience you will bring to the role:

* Experience using quality tools, techniques and statistics – PFMEA, SPC, 8D etc

* Experience managing quality documentation and QMS systems – CAPAs, ECNs, ECRs etc

* Management of QMS in a regulated environment such as Aerospace, Medical Device, Defence, Automotive etc.

* Use of measurement and dimensioning equipment

* Past success identifying CI opportunities within QMS / quality processes
