We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our supportive and inclusive secondary school, teaching students aged 11-16. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to teach across a range of Humanities subjects, with a particular focus on Geography and History.

Position Details:

* Location: Swindon City centre,

* Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)

* Start Date: 09/10/2024

* Salary: MPS - UPS

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons in Humanities, with an emphasis on creating a fun enviroment to learn in.

* Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of the world, past and present, through the study of Humanities

* Plan, prepare, and assess students' work, ensuring they achieve academic success and personal growth

* Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and respect for diversity

* Contribute to the wider school community by participating in events and extracurricular activities

Qualifications & Experience:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification

* Experience teaching Geography and History at secondary school level is highly desirable

* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students

* A commitment to fostering a love of learning and promoting cultural understanding
