The Company: Our client is a market leader in their engineering field. They work with over 100 different materials to produce precision machined components for a variety of industries within engineering and manufacturing. This company has a global presence and is continuing its steady growth since its inception in the 1980s.
The Role: You will be responsible for setting and running machines whilst ensuring maximum production is achieved to quality standards. This includes ensuring maximum productivity whilst adhering to the quality standards, adjusting setups, altering programming and other machine tasks to ensure maintained production levels.
Duties required:
* Inspecting parts produced
* Adjust Setups
* Alter programmes
* Machine set up
* Work in accordance of the quality system
* Ensure all aspects of safety standards are always kept
The Candidate:
* Background in CNC Milling or Turning
* Ability to work from Engineering drawings
* Experience with Mazak machines
* Experience working with flexible materials
* Programming experience with G-Code or CAM software
* Time served Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or Qualifications
* Proven background of CNC machining
* Hardworking, proactive individual with a “can-do” attitude
Benefits:
* £32,200 to £37,950 depending on setting/programming experience
* Monday to Friday
* 28 days Holiday
* 5% company pension contribution
