A mixed state school in South Manchester is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of Computer Science to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and engage students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the ability to teach Key Stage 5 being a valuable advantage.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and creative Computer Science lessons to students across KS3 & KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 for the right candidate.
* Support and challenge students to achieve their full potential.
* Plan, prepare, and assess student progress in line with curriculum standards.
* Work collaboratively with the department to enhance the Computer Science curriculum.
* Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements:
* A relevant degree in Computer Science or related field.
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or working towards QTS.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Computer Science.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
* KS5 teaching experience is desirable but not essential.
* ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are welcome to apply.
