IT Support Analyst
6 Month Contract
Location: Southampton (Office Based)
Rate: £226.51 per day (Inside IR35)
We are looking to recruit an IT Support Analyst on an initial 6 month contract for a technology driven police force. The IT Support Analyst delivering essential ICT operational services. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong customer service ethos and technical expertise to make a significant impact.
This is an office based role in Southampton, however a full driving licence is required as there might be a requirement to delivery equipment to sites throughout the Hampshire region.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain accurate asset registers, including stock level updates and equipment handling.
Resolve IT incidents and fulfil service requests in a timely manner, ensuring smooth operational continuity.
Place orders with approved suppliers, managing the process through to delivery.
Develop and maintain procedure and knowledge base documentation for internal use.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all users.Essential Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in ICT operational delivery.
Strong experience managing IT assets and stock levels.
Experience resolving incidents and fulfilling IT service requests.
Competent in placing and managing equipment orders.
Ability to travel to different locations across both Forces, with flexibility for unsocial hours. A full UK driving licence is essential due to the nature of the role.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.Desirable:
ITIL V3 Foundation or ITIL V4 certification.
Experience using ServiceNow or similar service management platforms
