Contract: Fixed-term (rest of the academic year)
Location: Nr Weybridge, Surrey
Salary: £169.62 - £258.83 (depending on experience)
anzuk Education is working exclusively with a highly performing comprehensive school based in Weybridge, Surrey. The school is part of a large successful multi-academy trust. The school was last rated by Ofsted as a ‘GOOD’ school, working towards 'OUTSTANDING'. The school has recently undergone an extensive renovation and boasts fantastic, new, modern facilities.
The Science Teacher Role:
The school is seeking an inspiring teacher of Science to join its well-resourced, friendly and supportive department. This role is full time, starting in term 2 (November) with the potential of turning into a permanent role for the right applicant.
Key Responsibilities of Science Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and inclusive lessons in line with the national curriculum
Teach Science across different key stages including lab work and theoretical lessons
Monitor and assess student progress
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration and independent learning
Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour
Qualifications, Requirements and Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent certification for UK teaching
Experience of teaching Science at secondary school level
Strong subject and UK curriculum knowledge and experience
Full references for the last 2 years
Full employment history checks required
