Systems Developer
Lincoln, Full-Time, Permanent
Salary £40,000 per annum
Our Lincoln-based Client is looking to appoint a Systems Developer on a full-time, permanent basis.
THE ROLE
Your duties as Systems Developer will include:
* Producing in-house applications and databases to support the company needs
* De-bugging and resolving coding issues
* Identifying development works, producing project proposals to include timescales and contingencies
* Eliminating ‘down-time’ for all mission critical and back-office systems
* Implementing new solutions into existing code
* Problem solving and troubleshooting
* Providing occasional cover for the IT helpdesk support
* Ad hoc IT and maintenance related tasks
THE CANDIDATE
The successful Systems Developer will possess the following:
* Extensive experience working with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS
* Experience using JavaScript, JQuery
* Experience with E-commerce websites and developing website solutions
* An understanding of MVC frameworks
* Experience with API’s, such as eBay, AWS and S3
* Version control, preferably GIT
* Great communication skills and a positive attitude
* The ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
* A flexible and adaptable approach to work
