Job Description: Block Manager

Salary: £30,000 £45,000 per annum
Hours: 08:45 – 18:00, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:
Managing a portfolio of residential blocks, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the properties.
Overseeing day to day property management tasks, including maintenance, repairs, and service charge collection.
Liaising with residents, leaseholders, and external contractors to address issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Conducting regular property inspections and coordinating necessary works to uphold property standards.
Handling financial aspects such as budgeting, financial reporting, and managing expenditure for the managed blocks.
Ensuring compliance with leasehold agreements, health and safety regulations, and relevant property management legislation.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Proven experience in block management or property management, with a strong understanding of leasehold principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with residents, leaseholders, and contractors effectively.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail to manage multiple properties and tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and reporting for residential blocks.
Knowledge of relevant property management legislation and health and safety regulations.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
