Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others? We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant (Shift Leader) to join our clients’ team.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care. You'll lead and support your team, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment for all.

What we offer:

* Competitive hourly rate of £13.60ph depending on experience

* Guaranteed 30 hours per week

* Opportunity for overtime and extra shifts

* Free uniform and DBS

* 6 & 12 hour shifts

* Permanent contract

* Friendly supportive team

Responsibilities:

* Plan, implement, and supervise exceptional care tailored to individual resident needs

* Ensure a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors

* Lead and manage shifts, providing guidance and support to junior staff

* Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and foster a positive team spirit

* Prioritise workloads effectively and ensure smooth shift operations

* Be available for on-call emergencies

Requirements:

* NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)

* Previous supervisory experience in a residential or nursing home care setting

* Qualification/experience in the Safe Handling of Medicines

* Genuine interest in and experience working with older adults

* Excellent communication skills

* Strong team player with a willingness to learn and develop

* Commitment to ongoing training and professional development

* Satisfactory DBS check
