As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be instrumental in optimising production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and refine manufacturing systems, processes, and equipment. Your technical skills and problem-solving abilities will be key to drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring that manufacturing operations consistently meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in cost reduction and introduce new processes and tooling

* Train and guide operators on production techniques

* Act as a liaison between manufacturing and other business functions

* Prepare estimates and manage job-related costs

* Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders

* Lead Root Cause Analysis

* Actively contribute to Health and Safety initiatives

* Identify and implement innovative manufacturing techniques

* Plan and optimise workflow, space, and equipment and oversee equipment maintenance and repairs

* Advise on Design for Manufacturing (DFM)

What they’re Looking For:

* Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with an assembly background

* HNC/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience is desirable

* Familiarity with modern manufacturing practices and processes

* Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies

* Strong teamwork and communication abilities

* Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

* Experience in system assembly manufacturing

* Proficiency in CAD SolidWorks
