Due to increased global growth, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customs Coordinator. This role is essential in assisting various customs-related tasks, directing and supporting multiple parties to ensure timely clearance of goods within our logistics team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate import and export activities for the site, conforming to HM Revenue & Customs regulations and relevant governing bodies using appropriate business systems.

* Liaise with customs legal counsel to check export controls and licensing requirements.

* Ensure all HM Revenue & Customs duty liabilities are fulfilled, minimizing costs.

* Liaise with customers, suppliers, agents, and customs authorities to address any issues or questions arising from business activities.

* Perform high volumes of data entry on spreadsheets.

* Make customs entry amendment requests to HMRC.

Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

* Minimum of 2 years' experience in exports/imports and customs compliance and regulations.

* Knowledge of customs requirements and formalities with a particular focus on UK & EU imports.

* Experience in road transport, logistics, or haulage (desirable but not essential).

* Working knowledge of the CDS system for both imports and exports.

* Knowledge of transit procedures and ETSF (desirable but not essential).

* HMRC amendment and reclaim experience.

* Flexibility with working hours, including occasional weekend work based on volume.
