The Role

As an ERP IT Business Systems Analyst/ERP IT Applications Analyst, you will provide comprehensive application functionality, configuration and support expertise for application software solutions. You will work with business analysts, architects, technical experts and other Global software vendors on the solution requirements, design, configuration, functionality gap resolution, implementation, support, maintenance, and enhancement of the applications.

Key responsibilities:

  • Analyze and evaluate ERP application functionality and provide recommendations to increase utilization of standard application functionality in order to improve business processes and capabilities.
  • Determine and document optimum application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements and specifications.
  • Develop expertise in latest Oracle ERP application changes and solution trends and functionality (provide functional recommendations as required.)
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with relevant vendors and work with them to improve application functionality and resolve functionality issues.
  • Act as subject matter expert and point of contact on content on all processes, procedures, and functionality associated with assigned applications for projects and application support.
  • Create and manage functional specifications for a given project from which programs and configurations will be applied to create the program, application, or complete solution.
  • Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Create complete Solution design documents, Test cases and Test scripts as required.
  • Create diagrams, models, and documentation to build a solution that meets buildability, business, technical, security, governance, and compliance requirements.

Your Profile

Key skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Extensive experience understanding business process and designing solutions as per business requirements.
  • Ability to troubleshoot on peripheral integrations.
  • In depth understanding on EBS Table structure.
  • Ability to manage complex issues and make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
  • Functional knowledge and implementation experience in the following Oracle R12 EBS Modules - Work in Process (WIP), Bill of Materials (BOM), Costing (CST), Inventory (INV), Oracle Warehouse Management including MSCA and Order Management (OM) and Advance Pricing.
  • Experience in solution configuration and creating, designing and formulating models, diagrams and documentation using industry standards, tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to validate a configuration item change or solution using the Function's defined best practices, including the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards, tools, and metrics, to ensure that it works as designed and meets customer requirements.

Good to have:

  • A can-do attitude and proven ability to integrate into a team and build relationships with senior leaders, managers along with Developers, Testers, DBA, and other IT stakeholders (GPV's + Client IT org).
  • Happy to work from Client's Manufacturing Plant's Office for all the working days.
  • The ability to own' the project, remove obstacles and deliver the results as per planned timelines.
