Responsibilities:

  • Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document disaster recovery and business continuity requirements.
  • Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop comprehensive DR plans and BCPs, including defining RTOs, RPOs, and creating actionable recovery runbooks.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the liaison between business leaders and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
  • Disaster Recovery Testing: Develop and execute DR testing plans, including tabletop exercises and real-world scenarios.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and BIA to identify potential threats and their impact on critical operations.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure that all DR documentation is up-to-date and adheres to industry regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in DR, BCP, or IT service continuity.
  • Strong knowledge of BCP, RTO, RPO, and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Experience in planning and executing DR tests.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
